On a FireStarters weekend I was filled with the Holy Spirit. I’d not felt or seen anything like this before. I just had a wave of peace over me and wanted to worship. I started dancing and didn’t want to stop.

God has shown me how important it is to completely surrender myself and everything I’m struggling with to Him. Although I might not like it it’s good to be vulnerable and it doesn’t show weakness but strength. He is changing me.

I have been shown how to read scripture. I don’t fully understand everything but I’ve definitely seen an improvement.

I have learnt that we have a choice to choose Gods way and I can make Christ like decisions and this pleases God so much. I have such a desire to read the Bible from this time at FireStarters

When we went out on the streets God just touched my heart with listening to some people’s stories and I could see they wanted to know about God and that He loves them.

I spoke in tongues for the first time! It was so amazing and I felt an incredible intimacy with the Father like He was standing right next to me holding my hand.

This time in FireStarters God grew the prophetic in me. He gave me words for others and I was able to pray for them.

Last night I felt so at peace. God laid a hand on my restless heart and showed me I didn’t need to strive I just had to submit. He showed me another way.

I have learnt that being with God can just be about being there in His presence.
I have also seen that when people reject Jesus I can pray for them.

I prayed with someone for healing on their foot and they were healed.
